Hi, my name is Jay Vohra, I’m married, have 3 beautiful kids and I live in Gaithersburg, MD. Ten years ago I left a thriving small business to start my own company. I was always a person who followed his intuitions and that often meant taking chances. That’s why in June of 2003, I formed INI, LLC (Ideas Never Implemented), because I didn't want my idea for a board game to become another "could have, should have.” I’ve had many of those….
Not knowing much about the board game industry, I decided to follow my heart and invest my personal savings in my dream. Five months later, I had 2,500 units of “I’ve Never" and a 10 minute appointment to meet with the buyer from Spencer Gifts. I showed her my game and she liked what she saw and decided to do a test in 30 stores.
With no marketing or advertising dollars to invest, the "I’ve Never" game rose to the challenge and did extremely well. In March 2004, Spencer Gifts placed the game in 600+ stores and the game is still going strong today.
In 2010, I followed up the success of the first game with the our I’ve Never Kids Edition. This version won the 2010 National Parenting Center Seal of Approval, the 2010 Game of The Year Award by Creative Child Magazine, and the 2010 Tillywig Award for Best Laugh Out Loud Party Game.
In 2011, we launched our newest game called "DABBLE" The Fast Thinking Word Game. DABBLE is like Scrabble plus Boggle but with no board and no down time. The game play is fast and easy to learn. Teachers, buyers, the CEO from Toys-R-Us, the VP from Mattel and many word game lovers fell in love with the game after playing it at the NY Toy Fair and I think you will too!
Our products offer people of all ages something that is lacking in so many products today — they provide interaction, entertainment, fun, laughter, and great conversation. I hope you enjoy our games.
